EVA Air’s Infinity MileageLands is a reliable, high-value mileage program that comes with a big warning. Furthermore, it has what might be the best name in the world. If one is to take EVA’s award space at face value, they would likely be the most valuable Asian miles easily accessible to a US based traveler. When viewing availability, there appears to be no blacked-out flights. This is highly suspect, as it’s almost never the case with other airlines. So, with a healthy dose of skepticism, we’re assigning EVA’s Infinity Mileaglands a value of $0.0156 per mile.

The Big Warning
Whenever looking for award space, one is greeted by the following warning. So, we’re highly recommending one call EVA before moving any valuable transferable points. We could easily envision a situation in which one transfers points, books the flight, and then is informed they are waitlisted without positive space. Of course, this would then mean their points are now locked in to EVA’s Infinity MileageLand program.
Our best redemption for the month comes from a hypothetical first-class flight from Shanghai to New York quoted for 105,000 miles +$57.45 in fees. The lowest price cash equivalent was $7,169, giving us an exceptional redemption of $.0677/mile.
